Backpacks for All!!

The sun was out and the heat was on! We started out the day at the property working on the wall and filling the pit for the septic system. After lunch we filled the back of the bread truck with the christmas bags for the kids at pastor NaeNae`s and drove across town. When we got to the house the kids were so excited to see us and loved taking pictures with our digital cameras. We passed out the bags to each child and took a photo of them before they opened them. As they opened their bags huge smiles filled their faces as they pulled out clothes and toys! To see the joy and happiness on their faces showed us that despite the hardships they face, they can experience Gods love for them! We had an awesome time jump roping, braiding hair, and loving on the orphans! Tomorrow we will be continuing to work at the property and then going to LOCC to hand out flip flops and tshirts to the children. Pray that we will be able to successfully bring the medical container to the new property. Keep the oprhanages and the kids in your prayers!
