Thursday!!

The heat is on! Yesterday we continued working at the property. Work on the wall continues on and is nearing completion. After our day on the property we got together the remainder of the dum dum pop shirts and flip flops and loaded in the bread truck to head to LOCC. The kids were so excited when we pulled up and we were soon surrounded by a group of kids who stayed with each of us the rest of the evening. We passed out a shirt and flip flops to each child and it was amazing to see the happiness on their faces! Later, Travis led us in an evening of worship on the outdoor veranda.

Thursday some of the team worked on the wall as others went grocery shopping and visited two different orphanages. Mid afternoon, the medical container finally arrived on the property after two unsuccessful attempts earlier in the week! Tonight we had a fiesta and some of the boys from LOCC came over and entertained us with songs and dancing! Tomorrow we hope to finish the wall and the plumbing for the leach pit. We are going back to LOCC to hand out Christmas bags Friday night!
