A note from Nicole

From Nicolle Bosworth Green Bompart
Dear Family and Friends, For almost 24 hours now you have been riding a roller coaster with us! We are so grateful for every prayer, note, encouraging message, and gift. We know that thousand, LITERALLY thousands of people have been and are praying. I want you to know that the doctors and nurses here at Bernard MEVS/Project Medishare Hospital have saved his life AND they have loved him. Today ...was one of the most difficult days of my life. He is stable but not out of the woods yet. Please do not stop praying. We will be on our way home in about an hour. Thank you for all who donated and gave from their big hearts. The money came in quick and then some! Praise the Lord for all He is doing in each one of you. We are flying directly from Port-au-Prince, Haiti to Columbus! When I told David he is going home he tried to smile and squeezed my hand really tight.

I also want you to know that many of our Haitian friends are heartbroken and very upset. Please do not allow your hearts to be hardened or even turned negatively towards the Haitian people. Killing someone is very wrong no matter what! Make no mistake. However, few of us could understand that kind of desperation to feed their families. It hit me very hard today when I looked into grown mens eyes who we have served, loved and considered family and saw the tears and the shame and the hurt that they feel that their own people could do this. I know Mack is feeling some of the same things. I ask something that may seem counter intuitive. Please pray for ALL of our Haitian friends whose hearts are broken.

We love all of you and we are bigger than blessed by your kindness and generosity to us!

Much love! WE ARE COMING HOME! Woo Hoo! Halleljuah!
