In Haiti, You Have to be Flexible

We have had a very productive few days. We have been focusing a lot of our time working on re-building the wall. We have 4 rows up already and hopfully today we can get a couple more done.

Mark told us that when you're in Haiti, you have to be flexible - and that really has proven to be true. We have found that sometimes it is hard for us to be patient! At home when someone says they will be there at a certain time, normally they are on time. Here, when someone tells us they will deliver something, we now know that we should add about 2-3 hours to the delivery time! We are very spoiled at home! But we are learning to be flexible.

We are hoping that the backhoe is going to arrive today. If it does, we will start to demo the old foundation on the property. Once we get that removed, we can start digging footers for the new dormatory.

Pray that our bodies hold up for another day and that we stay safe!

The mountains can been seen in the distance from the new property.
