Final Preparations for Our Trip

We have both of our teams set and we are now preparing for our trip! The first trip is February 18-26 and the second trip is February 27-March 7. We are sending 20 people each week.

We will be working with Pastor Nae Nae who lives on the outskirts of Port-au-Prince along with his wife and 6 children. They operate an orphanage for 35 Haitian children. They all live together in a small 2 room house. We will be the first two teams who will begin the construction of an orphanage complex for this Pastor. The goal is to have a girls dormitory, a boys dormitory, a room for Pastor Nae Nae and his wife and a room for his children. The plan is to have this construction finished in the next 5 months. Our teams will be starting with bare ground and will be digging and pouring footers and pouring floors for these dormitories.

• Safe travels for both teams
• That we can get much accomplished in the short time that we are there
• Safety on the jobsite
• That our interaction amongst ourselves would be a demonstration of Christ's love
• That we would have a spirit of joy as we work with and interact with the Haitians
• For Pastor Nae Nae, his family and the orphans - that God would protect and care for them
